Sunderland

 spent the last 2 days on the phone to 111 about my dad, can not get anyone out to see him.

Spoke to some 1 this morning who persuaded him he needed to go to hosital in an ambulance.

6 hours later im still waiting for it to turn up

terrified of him going in there but hes deteriorating so much

That's terrible - poor bloke 😢

Have you managed to get him seen yet?

One of the bar staff in Flanagans has tested positive for covid.
It's closed for a deep clean for 72 hours.

How many pubs in Sunderland city centre have had to close temporarily because of covid now?

Don't know mate. The Govt website doesn't give death breakdowns lower than regions.
They drill down to hospital trust, and in yesterday's figures the 3 were split between Nortumbria, Newcastle and Sunderland/South Tyne.

There was also another 1 at Sunderland/South Tyne today, so 3 days in a row now.
