From the back? Not often. Because the midfielders (of which Jones is one of) aren’t coming or showing to receive the ball. Whether it’s tactics, coaching or individual responsibility (or not wanting the responsibility) I don’t know but it wasn’t inaccurate to say Jones has had no impact on the game and has passed it safely backwards and sidewards.

The way things go on here that’ll mean I hate him, his favourite choice of food, and his descendants dating back to the medieval times before the end of half time.

Jones is playing everything very safe, with most touches a back pass.

I'd get Mayenda on sooner rather than later, possibly for the, once again, ineffective and frustrating Roberts.
