*~*~* Sunderland v Swansea match thread *~*~*

So he maintains possession and keeps it ticking over, why is that a negative?

Because when all three midfielders are doing that, it’s not really progressive.

I’ve lost count of times our central defenders or full backs have had the ball but there have been no willing takers of the ball from midfield.

I don’t care about what name is on the back of the shirt or where they’re from, this is an issue whoever is put out. It’s why, IMO, we neither control or kill games.

Absolutely dire in terms of attacking threat, other than some good direct running from Watson.

Jones is playing everything very safe, with most touches a back pass.

I'd get Mayenda on sooner rather than later, possibly for the, once again, ineffective and frustrating Roberts.

Rigg hardly touched the ball. Jones might as well swap with him. Roberts trying hard. Isidor offside so much...was not. Bring Le Fee for fucks sake.

So the forward pass isn't on?

Been saying g it all season, Rigg should be central. He has played 3 beautiful balls for our chances. He sees things Jobe and Neil don't.

Given the circumstances, that's as reasonable a game as we could expect. It was never going to be nail-biting.

Looking for changes at 65 minutes (Mayenda, Aleksic and LeFee) and maybe a better second half and a win.
