Yes, Dickie played more games but Ritchie’s tackle helped win us the cup. I doubt whether Dickie would last five minutes these days, he was a bit rough as well as crude. Made Kevin Ball look like a softie.

But a great lad for his day. I watched from the main stand paddock in those days.
