*~*~* Sunderland v Plymouth match thread *~*~*

We are quite simply miles off a top 2 team and people on here won’t accept it. Played to a draw, f***ing comfortably, by Plymouth Argyle.
Have a look at the league table and stop talking shit.

Hull hammered SU, who are top two, at their own place yesterday. Are they miles off as well?

I can understand starting Samed, as he's got to play at some point, and may well be needed. Today was, in theory a game to ease him in, try something different, rest Rigg after he's come back from injury. Samed didn't cause us to draw that game.

What a bunch of fairies on here man 😂

Why?

The lineup and the set up was questionable.
Performance was mostly abject.

The subs and defensive nature at the end contributed to losing points.

Bring defensive players on and invite pressure and then still fail to stop crosses or deal with high balls into the box.

Any criticism today has been brought on by selection and in game subs and tactics.

I can't fathom why we were so defensive with our formation, and then our subs - against a bottom team. Have some balls!
Bringing Leo hjeide (however it's spelt) rather than osheesh was crazy. osheesh would have got us up the pitch and helped us run the clock down. Even povenda or Alesic would have been better subs

Patterson with velcro for studs. An easy shout to O'Nien and he can come and claim it. The bloke is useless but his cock snoggers on here wont have it.

O dear, what you take from today's performance, is that Patterson was at fault!
What about the manager starting 11 and formation, what about the 10 outfield players strolling around!
