Tbf I could have lived with one of them in the team. To put two in there and expect to learn anything worthwhile that’ll advance our club is spectacularly dumb, though. Shite - but entirely expected - from Parky.

No reason not to play likes of Embleton.

The check a trade games aren’t the same level of competitiveness so it’s a waste of time. Fleetwood made a number of changes in their last game too. Just have a look at the teams they’ve been putting out then you’ll understand why people are bothered.

I've already said I agree. But the Fringe players will always be ahead of the under 23s.
 
I would rather have the 18 year old unproven kid in rather than the 22 year old who has proven not to be up to much - other than that its a fair enough team.

Yeah don’t see why though. Would have been nice to see our younger players blended in with our better players to see what they can offer. Doesn’t tell us much when they play in changed teams against changed teams imo. It’s minutes for minutes sake on Tuesday night if fleetwood make loads of changes again too. I think today will be the more competitive game.

Maguire will be playing this as a kick up the arse imo. Power isn't a guaranteed starter now in my eyes. But again, I agree I'd rather be seeing Neil and Embleton playing.

It just was never going to happen.
