I'm convinced something has gone on behind the scenes, the players have pretty much given up on Johnson
Fairly confident he won't see the month out

I was saying the same thing to my Dad on Tuesday after the Sheff Wed game. Just doesn't seem like the same team from a few weeks back.

If it was another league defeat I’d agree but he’s put an entire reserve team (inc those coming back from injury who need minutes). Let’s get out of this thing!
Still 4 1st teamers started mate Flanagan Evans Neill and Embleton.

Don't mind getting knocked out but I would like to see us stop getting bullied in games and I can't see where that will come from

Sack LJ and the next manager will have the same problem and there will be be fans calling for their head at the end of the season as we won't go up.

Rinse and repeat until we buy a couple of nasty leave their foot in type players

But not my point. It’s not our first team so let’s get out of this and the next papa johns game and concentrate on winning the next league game.
Cirkin, Evans, Neil, Flanagan, Embleton, O’Brien, Broadhead all played in the last first team game

It doesn’t matter how you sell it, you can fool yourself by saying they are reserves ( they aren’t, 5 of those would be regular starters), but again it is the manner of the performance yet again.
Absolutely devoid of any idea whatsoever, totally abject and irrespective of who is out there on the pitch, that is down to one man and one man only.
I don’t want to get beat obviously I never do, but I will take some solace in that hopefully he is one game closer to losing his job. He won’t lose it this weekend though and that may be a problem

I listened to the LJ presser earlier this afternoon. As usual, he spoke well - just a bit divorced from reality.

He talked about our open, expansive, attacking play. He thinks we are full of goals. How can he not see that all his forward players lack a goal threat bar Stewart?

Signing Pritchard says it all to me about this data led approach. How could the data suggest signing a player for the number 10 position who has failed to score for two seasons and scored only 3 in his las four seasons?

Then he starts taking free kicks around the edge of the box😳

I know its a cup game with a lost of first choice players on the bench but if LJs hoping to put things right in the league he has to start by putting this one right ths afternoon.

Losing this will only make his job more difficult. I don't have any ambitions to go a long way in this particular competition its simply about getting back to winning games and this should be a free gift for us.
