It wasn't much better under Mowbray this season. This isn't anything new. Nothing has changed

That isn't true. We had some good performance this season under Mowbray. Southampton, Birmingham, Leicester, QPR and Norwich. Even under Dodds we played well against WBA and Leeds. This is how Beale wants us to play. Slow, conservative football. We aren't pressing like we can. We aren't looking to get on the front foot.

Jobe is a good player but not in form at the moment. We're not doing him any favours by continuing to play him.

But the worst thing at the moment is that it seems we are unbalancing the team to fit him in. We really lack width on both sides of the pitch tonight. Which makes us even more predictable.

Now, we might still win. Hull are hard to break down but they haven't offered a whole pile going forward; first goal will be key.
