Positive performance. Never in my life seen a manager not use a sub mind :lol: Catts and Mcgeady were class two of the better players in the league on our hands there.

Good. Did the most important thing, avoided defeat. Plus looked like a team with very promising threats around goal. More confident Grayson can bring a team together now. Obviously some on here will want him sacked coz he did not make a sub,

We've had 4 clear chances before they squandered one from Martin. Played decent and still a fair few players missing.

Honeymon did ok but criminal not taking him off for whazri

Areet that like. Looked like a team for a start which bodes well seeing as it's the first time a few of these have played together. Created a few chances and unlucky hitting the post and thought we were the better side. Good to see us showing some fight after going down an all. Really glad to see Honeyman looking good for this level, showed some good touches and grafted like fuck. Whole team grafted well tbf like, really refreshing.

We'll piss this league.
Not sure if serious but saw nothing there to suggest that at all. More confident we can finish in the top 10 and at least push for the playoffs but that was a very even game, they could have easily had a penalty, Martin usually takes those and Steele made a brave save at the end. We had chances as well, post, Catts, Vaughan, but a fair result and that's at home to a side expected to finish around 7th or 8th. Positive signs certainly and should put to bed the massive negativity throughout this board over the last couple of weeks but can't see us being a dominant force.

I'm interested to see how Boro get on against Wolves tomorrow.

That's a much better result than any level-headed fan could've expected. Lots of positives to be taken from it. If we can just spend wisely on a couple more players we will be hanging around the play off places come the end of the season.

McGeady our best player on the night. Honeyman was canny, hardly wasted a ball, showed a lot of energy. Grabban looked busy without being spectacular, Ndong and Cattermole were OK. Another plus point for me was the left back settling as the game went on. Mind, we'll not keep many clean sheets if this showing is anything to go by.

Maybe he is wanting those on the bench to feel more hunger to get on the pitch than they currently think they feel, mind games?;)

Maybe. Can you right a love ballad about that ?

Good summary.

We should have gone at them in the 2nd half and carved a win out....they will learn I guess and do better, cause we are Wearside!
