This is the first year my 8 year old has had a season ticket. He usually twists and moans when we concede and can get pretty stroppy but I told him going into the play offs that the team needed our support no matter what.
He sang his heart out last night and didn’t let his head drop when they scored. With about 5 minutes to go he held my hand and said “Dad I’m nervous”. “We all are” was my reply. When Ballard stuck that header in it is was easily the best feeling I’ve ever felt inside of a football match. A mixture of proud dad and jubilant fan.
He’s absolutely buzzing to go to Wembley. Can’t wait for him to experience Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and all that brings.

Sky Blues Talk is like the extreme views you see on here. For the membership there, it's only a small minority that are active and vocal. It's not a good representation of our fanbase.
Look on Twitter and apart from the odd few who want to argue for nothing, most are satisfied with our teams performance but understandably disappointed with the end result.
It's been said many times before, possession does not win games. Putting the ball in the net does. And we failed at the latter over the two legs and and in hindsight, for most of this season.
Congratulations on getting the results you needed.

This is what football is about and that memory will be something the bairn won't ever forget and he'll cherish forever spending it with you.
It's not always about winning trophies like Man City/Man United do and have, it's moments like this that make memories that last a lifetime.
Yet sadly many clubs now have over priced tickets, many bought by plastics with no passion which is draining the atmosphere from games.
I just love the way everyone is in the crowd. All over. Riggy over there, Neil somewhere else, Cirkin on top of him, Jobe over there. Everyone just goes batshit. Love it.

Their goal at coventry was when Le Fée failed to block the cross and their goal at the SOL was when he was so slow to get after the overlapping coventry player that he was able to get an easy good cross in. He also is not the most difficult player to outmuscle. Don't get me wrong i think Enzo is a class player with the ball at his feet and sees passes that no one else does, but he's not great at defending and wingers have crucial defensive duties in our system. Roberts had no output going forward but he worked hard with defending as a consequence most of their meaningful attacks came down our left flank in both games.
