Just watched the penalty shout and their goal. Clear penalty and foul for me, which makes a massive difference in a poor game for both sides.

I'd agree in general. However, today was shocking made worse my terrible substitutions. When it's shite we have the voice to call it out.
I'm not convinced we were shocking the entire game, we played some good stuff in the first half though there was room for improvement. Second half was scrappy, could quite easily have been a different story had Cirkin's effort gone in. I missed probably the last 10-15 minutes, probably from when Gooch came on - I think.

From what I watched I'm not panicking, not that I'm suggesting you are. There seems to be massive swings from we're going to walk the league to we're going to struggle to make the play offs. Loads of football left to play and plenty of twists, I don't expect us to get into the top 2 and not budge all season.

The referee is determined to make it all about him, to the extent he's ignoring solid bookings
Their #9 with several shirt pullings and elbows unnoticed, not to mention the time wasting from several of their players which only got penalised when it was too late to have any impact.

We were poor today. Really poor, but definitely didn’t help having a referee who put in a terrible performance.

Charlton played an effective physical game and we had no answer for it.

People are going to understandably react? Any rational supporter wouldn’t kick off about our recent form ffs. We are still well within a shout. Some wouldn’t be happy unless we won every game by 3+ goals.
In all fairness I'm as much of a happy clapper as they come, but I can start to see the resemblance between our recent form and how it's played out over the last few seasons.

As long as the long, winless runs don't come in alongside it like last season then I'm not worried too much just yet though.

On to the next one.

Wyke and power leave and play for a team doing better than us. Honeyman leaves ads gets promoted. Dobson leaves and comes back and schools our midfield.
Maybe our managers are just f***ing cack
Same points as us with a plus 4 goal difference over us.

I've heard of clutching at straws, but to say they're better than us

EDIT> Dobson schools our midfield

Quick question. Is this the 4th season in a row you’ve called people a wet lettuce? Or did you call people that during the back to back relegations? I’m just wondering in which of those 6 seasons people were wrong to criticise?
Quick one, should we win every single game and win comfortably?

Poor performance. Yes I think the officials were poor but it's not their fault we were just a bit shit throughout.

Mind, one of our fans should be ashamed of themselves, chucking that bottle of Coke on the pitch. Pathetic.

How many chances did we have at home against the third bottom team during 90 minutes?

There's a few knees jerking all owa this thread at the minute. Keep your knickers on lads.
We’ve just lost at home without scoring against a struggling team, and couldn’t even handle their pressure.
We can’t afford to piss away points, especially at home, if we’re expecting automatic promotion. It’s not knee jerking to be concerned about our inconsistent performances, it’s perfectly natural.

If LJ doesn’t sort this out and get us promoted automatically this season, he‘ll go down as an abject failure in my opinion given the team he has.

If we drop points at home and allow supposedly poorer teams like Portsmouth and Charlton stop us playing our game and beat us, you can forget going up this season, and that would be unthinkable.

Teams like Charlton and Bolton are properly taking the piss out of their fans and manager. No doubt they’ll roll over for next weeks opposition.

Some people will never criticise…….they can’t bring themselves to do it.

Some people have negative personalities. They dwell on the obvious negatives (we played crap and deserved to lose) but then need to find more.

So they say things like "We were dominated by Dobson/Bridcutt/Honeyman etc". Often these ex players haven't actually dominated us, often theyre actually quite poor, but because they are an ex player they stand out more because we recognise them.

But to a negative person its another thing to dwell on, to make you feel even more bad about the situation.
