Charlton didn't look like a bottom 4 side and we didn't look like a top 4 side today.

We have played better this season and we will again. Today, too many looked like they were running in treacle and we lacked the invention to break through their defence.

Shame that we resorted to hoofing the ball in the last third of the game.
 

I’m not panicking by any stretch. They’ve just got rid of their manager, Johnnie Jackson is very well thought of by their players and fans and we rarely do well against Charlton anyway.

There’ll be bumps in the road but there’s still lots of football to play. Very frustrating day but you can’t win them all I suppose.

This is what has happened the last few seasons. I was starting to become hopeful that this season was going to be different but some similar patterns are emerging.

Hopefully the mediocre performances are arrested quickly and we pick up again.

I'd agree in general. However, today was shocking made worse my terrible substitutions. When it's shite we have the voice to call it out.

It's not just 1 defeat in fairness. 2 from the last 4, sort of streaky form that is keeping us in this league. People are understandably going to react, it's our 4th season in this league ffs.
