*~*~* Sunderland v Bristol City match thread *~*~*

Well this second half has been one of the worst I’ve seen us play. First half brilliant second is on par with Coventry. Horrendous

We've been rancid for well well over a month now simple as that. We've managed to grind a few results out here and there but at the end of the day we've been shit.

Had spells of maybe 30 minutes solid good football, usually in the first half in these games. Opposition manager finds us out , changes things up and they get on top.

We go in at half time and come out rancid week in week out. Actually look half asleep. Plan B does not exist with RLB. If anyone's spotted it let me know and going to a desperate 4-4-2 is the answer then 😂

Are we probably over achieving? Yes. Have we clearly shown potential where we could be pushing for the top spots? Yes. And that's why people get frustrated.

First raised eyebrows of the manager this. Is this what happened at lorient? Start well then fall apart.
I think it’s a consequence of the reluctance to use subs all season. While the top 12 are fit enough we win, but he hasn’t used subs enough to rest the top 12 players or play the subs in. We were dominant first half, just missing a striker, and now we are out of energy and ideas

Some pathetically lazy balls going up to their keeper. Disgraceful performance. Nail in the coffin for our automatic chances. I hate the term must win, but on our form over the last month or so, this was defo a must win to stay in contention for top 2. Just gotta hope we stop the rot and maintain playoffs.
