*~*~* Sunderland v Bristol City match thread *~*~*

We need Tommy Watson to just hit one instead of looking for another pass. We have played well though. It's a bit like Oxford but without the goals going in to make it comfortable.
I know he's off btw. He's the type of player who does it though.

As a SC holder I'm not normally able to partake in the match day thread for home games, but me and the bairn both ill tonight so can't make it .
Is this what its usually like? Some people sitting at home watching on tv criticising those fans at the ground or who haven't turned up?

Yes

We rarely beat Bristol especially up here and our last home victory against them came in December 1994 and before that in February 1977.

I was reading in the build-up to the game that we have won only 3 of our last seventeen league games against them, failing to score in nine of those including both fixtures last season.

Let's hope this changes in the second half.

Usually worse

I've usually closed it in disgust by half time

Team look so unbalanced since Watson has gone off
Should have bought Cirkin on. Him and Alese down the left; Hume and Mayenda down the right and Roberts on the bench until we sell him in January.
(Bite, you lot that believe Roberts is the second coming of Christ).

How dare you come on here and have ago at us stay at homes watching in the comfort of our home. Least we stay until the final whistle.

I'm thinking we might need to sacrifice one of the back 4 (Ballard), change to 3 at the back and throw another striker (Connolly) on. 3-1-4-2.
