Sunderland Till I Die

I have to say on the many surprises Sunderland have thrown at me, needless sending offs, needless freekicks, needless penalties, own goals, own bizzarre own goals, keeper mistakes but I was not expecting that 5 second from the end winner for Charlton, I should know better but that was a belter and will take some beating by Sunderland's standards.
I was on an annual walking/drinking long weekend, this time in Stratford. I just didn’t react at all. One of the lads asked why I wasn’t absolutely gutted. I jus told him “Although I didn’t expect us to leave it quite that late, this is Sunderland, it was utterly inevitable.”
Like viewers of STID he just sat there with a look of disbelief on his face. Kind of like “Well I can understand why people choose to support Liverpool, now, Man Utd in 90s/00s etc but this is ridiculous”

I've noticed a few more cameras than usual at the SOL recently to be fair. S3 might be on the cards

Most likely just getting generic shots of the home crowd to edit into last season's footage, on series 1 they recycled so much of the crowd footage it looked awful ie winning away at Norwich and then immediately cutting to scenes of fans celebrating in the SOL or away at another ground.

2 people I know who were at the Brentford away game ended up featuring in about 5 games using the same shot.

Shouldn't be another series till we are promoted then should have highlights up until then..... madness to release another series while we are still trying to get out this league. 3rd series when we get back to prem.

Big breaks in series rarely work.

Just look at Godfather Part II - III

Why does everyone seem to think this doc is being made for Sunderland fans? It isn't. This doc is meant to appeal to a wide audience. They are not catering for SAFC fans.

this is a really good point. It’s for a worldwide audience. 99% of viewers won’t notice the ‘continuity errors’

it doesnt have to be true to everything though. stuff like that happens all the time, if during the edit the director wanted a crowd reaction shot in there then it doesnt matter where its from as long as it fits the narrative.

Pretty sure my daughter was being filmed at the Coventry match after Kimpioka scored. Never seen her so buzzing

No pictures unfortunately but some of the cameras just seem massive to only be photography cameras
