Sunderland Til I Die

I might watch it again, another reminder of where we've been will give me yet another wry smile.
It’s a shocker like. Everything about the club was just so shit in that two-year period.

No money, Rodwell strutting around like a bad smell on high wages, Gibson getting hammered, Maja being shifty as fuck when asked if he’s committed, Donald going higher and higher to bring Grigg in, Methven being an absolute bellend.

Just everything was shit.

but, as has been said many times before, what we're witnessing now, wouldn't feel quite so sweet if we hadn't gone through that.

No, leave well alone.
Couldn't disagree more.

Really think the club should do what it can to get this reignited.

The documentaries help with international exposure and im sure would allow us to sign greater commercial deals. Wrexham are an example of how them being visible in yearly documentaries has elevated their commercial deals (which are significantly greater than ours currently).

Tbf, the Sunderland Till I Die period isn’t something I dare think about in terms of where we are now.

I still think it’ll feel really sweet if we hadn’t had that period and still came up the way we did last season - up via the playoffs with 2 last min winners.

That’s special regardless of the recent history.

should have persuaded netflix to post a 5 second episode first day of the season with a black screen and red letters saying

"we're back"

Oh it is, but surely the outpouring of emotion was inextricably linked to the days of league one too. That long climb back I'm sure was in everyone's mind as they celebrated. Watching back when I got home on sky, I think it was David prutton said, this isn't relief, it's just pure joy and happiness. I'm sure that was all in everyone's minds.

I’d rather we don’t do another but this season would’ve been brilliant to do one on wouldn’t it? 😂
Tbf there doesn't need to be another STID but the club hasnt done a season review DVD for quite some time eg The Great Escape season ( Poyet ), On the Up ( Keano )
IF our season ends with a top 6 finish or qualification for Europe then perhaps it would be worthwhile producing another one, particularly given we have beaten the Mags twice
