Anyone doing any of the Sunniside Live stuff tonight?
Art and music from David Bowie in Fawcett Street, Frankie Styles painting a new mural at the back of Pop Recs, electronic music in a pop up venue in Norfolk Street and an artist with novelty characters in a Reeves and Mortimer style at Diego's. Certainly sounds varied

Sunniside Nights even
Yes. Will be at Pop Recs for Jasmine Padgett Family Band and Richard Dawson. Then hoping there is room to get in to 31 Norfolk Street for Yotuns and Feral Yon.

we saw the Bowie exhibition and were talking to people who had Teesside accents who were asking us the way to the Fire Station and Dun Cow. Saw the portrait gallery then went to BHV where Sarah James and friends were good. couldnt get in Pop Recs or Diegos, good to see so many turn out

Jasmine Padgett Family Band announced a Cumbrian folk song which got a big cheer from a few people, presumably from Cumbria. They then asked if there was anyone there from Sunderland - not a single voice!! Was weird.

Then again, I'm with a group of 12 and none of us are, apart from @Twisted who hadn't arrived by then!
