Parting Shots, who are playing Saturday at the Bunker are one of the early post punk bands from Sunderland. They started in about 1980, moved to London and played with the likes of The Birthday Party and Ski Patrol. This is their first gig since about 1985. Should be a good night.

I remember seeing some former members of the Beautiful South at the Manor Quay back in the day but Heaton and Corrigan were not involved cracking gig though.
