Seen the Hudson Sisters a couple of times, both good singers and they're a good if somewhat filthy act.

Brought the family to the silky club thing, and canny few of our mates families.
Been OK but they ran outta draught very early, and there's massive gaps between bands. Seen a canny few people packing up and leaving and apparently there's still bands to come on.🤷‍♂️
And with that the next band comes on:lol:

Canny night at Harbour View Speakeasy last Thursday--Handpulls spot on as always
Fri and sat was at Old Fox, Felling, for The Loft Boys then Big River and again cracking Hand Pulls
Sunday pre match was at the Welcome Tavern for Jamagotchi. No Hand Pulls there but with the Band being earlier than usual We had a ridiculously vfm small Sunday Dinner for £4!
Out To Beggars Bridge Post match for Dave Lynas, Hand pulls not quite as good as other nights but Beggars Ale certainly vfm at £3.60

Nowt local next weekend as away to caravan over Lakes but will have live music at Caravn local 4pm Sunday

Does anybody get to the DunnCow buskers night? Canny venue, canny beer, music. What’s not to like.

According to facebook it is cancelled tonight.

I've not been but I don't really like covers. I would love to find an open mic for songwriters/original songs.

Bit of both. Nowt worse than a shit cover of something, but everyone has to start somewhere. That said, lots of new stuff can be hard work after a while. You need to properly listen but also have the right crowd who’ll pay attention.

Ian Prowse does a Monday Club in the Cavern in Liverpool & has a strict no covers policy.
