Fascinating read, that!
It sure is. On the last night of it shutting (After the efforts to keep it running, with the support of John Peel) I just started out DJing, done a few gigs elsewhere and was asked to DJ there for this night. It was an amazing night, full of a whole range of people, artists, musicians, Punks, Skins, Hippies, Goths, students, etc. The main bloke of The Bunker(Cannot remember his name?), thanked me loads and said it was the best DJ set he had ever heard. His words gave me loads of confidence.
I will never forget the eclectic mixture of people on the floor, dancing like crazy to the tunes I played, particularly the 5ft tall, Indie/Goth lass, wearing a backpack and dancing radged moves all night. It was some experience, that I remember fondly and feel proud to have been a part of. :)
