'Sunderland fans are too soft'

A mag at work has just told me.

Given the way we've bent over & just accepted everything that's come our way.

He's right though, not that protesting would have changed anything at all.

I simply gave up (by not attending games) because we were piss poor and gutless, theres not a lot the fans could have done to change that though. Huge credit to those who continued to attend, it just simply wasn't worth my hard earned cash.

More like mass resignation to our fate a few seasons back, despite last minute reprieves.

Having said that, I'd like to think we have more class than boycoutting things (still makes me smile), having pretend funerals and engaging in equestrian pugalsim to vent our anger at a football club.

Eh, you lot were the first to do the mock funeral and punch a horse.

They constantly protest against Ashley (funnily enough, not at the moment) and he's still there.
Blackpool constantly protest against Oyston, he's still there.
Coventry protest against SISU and guess what?

I could go on.

They really are going on like they're somehow of a better calibre. Not a single one of them have had to go through any of this yet think they're experts on our club and fans.

All their shit crack has changed not a thing. All the good stuff they've had recently is down to Ashley not their embarrassing funerals etc

He is right.

What would have the point then? Theres nowt the board could have done at that point.

Pressure could have been put on the things that hurt Ellis.....Suggested clogging up the phone lines of his companies and clogging up his companies emails with questions as to his plans but was deleted......Hurt his business interests I say.
