Sunderland Empire

Great show, loved it. Saw it last year as well but I'm sure this one was a bit different, seemed to be more songs this time but that could just be me being mistaken.

Twas canny, had a nice scran in Enfes beforehand, pint of Genius in Canny Lad then Empire. Canny show but I think it would be better if a fan of Dubliners. Good musicians though. Diddly diddly diddly 😂
Aye, to be fair there’s certain music things you can get away with even if you’re not a fan of the band/genre. If you’re not into Irish folk or the Dubliners it might be harder like  They’ve got that many famous songs so I’d guess if you had a passing interested you’d have recognised half the songs anyway.

Daniel is the new kid in town trying to fit in until he becomes the target of Cobra Kai's relentless star student, Johnny. Underestimated and outmatched ...

Also doing Newcastle before that but meh to that bit. It's really really good as a musical - saw it in the West End just after it opened so now dropping heavy hints to see it when it hits the East Midlands stretch of the tour.
