Sunderland Empire

We went to see Mary Poppins yesterday and it was one of the best productions I’ve ever seen. The theatre was absolutely packed for a matinee even though it’s been running for over three weeks now.
Had lunch in the town and places were busy with theatre goers all making for a great atmosphere around the city centre.
Yes we did buy an extortionately priced ice cream tub but it was absolutely delicious and added to the very nice afternoon that we had.
What flavour of iced experience
Empire and fire station must generate huge revenue for the city
Who goes to a Wednesday matinee
Pensioners who say they need the triple lock and wfa?

That's an excellent point. A mid-week matinee when there's no school holidays on. Mental!

Mint chocolate chip
We joined a queue of mostly pensioners bu to our surprise when we got to our seats the upper circle was rammed with kids out on a school trip .

Took the granddaughter to see Mary Poppins yesterday. It was a great production . Price wise it is a bit of a rip off , but where isn't these days ? . Its only once in a blue moon we go so not a problem. Town was really busy as well . All good for sunderland I would say .
