Sunderland AFC U21s

He's a much better footballer than George Honeyman IMO, who has had a really good EFL career. Not got the workrate or tenacity of Honeyman yet though.
You think we trigger the extra year / renew and loan him out, or he leaves and finds a L1/2 club to start his senior career properly

Those who have seen him more, what’s Jones level? He looked tidy enough off the bench in the championship but was still a way off first team regular
I think he's plays it a bit too safe even though he's got decent ability. A bit weak too. Hope he can work on that

I'd trigger the option and loan him out, nowt to lose by giving him an extra year and seeing if he can kick on. Got a lot of talent, just needs to play senior footy and learn the other side of the game.
Decent loan will tell one way or another. He’s only 19

He's 21 now, so it'd be last chance saloon but Le Bris obviously likes him and a loan might do him the world of good.
So he is, apologies! Having his brother Jayden still at the club may influence the decision to extend a year too?

I disagree he’s 21 year old still playing against 17/18 year olds in youth football. He’s played about 5 real games of football in his career there is no chance the club will offer him a mew contract would be bad for him he isn’t going to make it here. Honeyman was a much better player at the same age for me but suppose all about

I'd say they are quite similar and played pretty much the same amount of senior games at the same age.

I'm not sure what the home grown rule is in the PL but we may keep him for that

Honeyman didn't even make his debut for us until he was 21 and was 23/24 before he was making regular appearances. I think Harrison could get there but desperately needs a loan to push him.
