Sunderland AFC U21s

Is it really bullshit or are you just not as ITK as you portray.. the latter it seems.
In the know????? Haha. When have I said I was ever in the know. I'm a supporter of our club and have an interest in the youth teams and their development. I like to share my opinions on that. Now in your warped vendetta it makes me in the know.

You'll get banned again Bigcatts at this rate and you'll have to think of another user name.

Anyway let's not derail this excellent thread

You portray as you are ITK, like I said players have had serious injuries in this competition in the past due to the standard of players they are playing against, it totally defeats the object of "mens football" when the standard isnt up to the level they need. But yes, please carry on with your opinions on which players should be around the first team, its a good laugh reading them when threads are bumped. Have a good day my friend.

Take care bigcatts

Is this against poor opposition where they win 6/7/8/9-0 with the risk of injury due to them being 5 steps ahead of the competition? If you were as knowledgable as you portray, the club stopped entering that competition for a few years due to players being seriously injured.
Not sure this is true like. They are quite happy to play them in pre season so can’t be that worried about injury, they have played Hebburn and Newcastle blue star just from the top of my head the last 2 seasons. Not really sure they would be winning 5/6/7/8/9-0 either, for example the season just gone Newcastle got knocked out of it by Heaton Stan 3-0 I think it was and my all accounts could have been more.

Needs to kick on this season, hopefully injuries put behind him now

Problem now is we’re in the prem it’s a massive step up from 21s to the first team. Successful loans become even more vital to a pathway to the first team. Looks decent for the 21s but as with several others must have a decent loan as soon as possible.

Trey, Matty Young, this lad and one or 2 others need league 1, championship or SPL loans

Who from the 21s do you think is ready for championship loans?

Young has done more in the men’s game than Harrison, he’d be way ahead of Jones in getting a champ move (aye I know different positions).

The echo already reported it will probably be a L1 or SPL loan for Young earlier in the summer.

"Next season, Young is determined to continue his progression through regular senior . The Echo understands the goalkeeper believes there would be little benefit in remaining as Sunderland’s third-choice in the Premier League, and he is open to a loan move to either League One or the Scottish Premiership. Sunderland, however, have not yet finalised their plans for Young’s short-term future"
