I'll absolutely not accept giving goals away purely because currently playing out from the back is a done thing.

It's also not the odd goal conceded it's pretty much a goal a game they are giving away.
 
Cracking game, controlled it for the most part even with 10 men. Not sure the 1st WB goal was due to playing out from the back, there was a simple lay off but the kid faffed on with it on edge of box and got tackled, that's youth football and how they learn/develop.. Looked like FG's 2nd yellow was for kicking the ball away but the ref was atrocious throughout 😞

Your suggestion, which you seem to make most games, will not allow the players to develop as they need to. Defenders even for South Shields need to be able to play the ball out from the back. But you want Sunderland U18s and U21s to stop playing the ball out from the back because the players make mistakes and we concede goals from that. So you don't want us to prepare players for the modern game. Sorry, but that is utter nonsense.

I'll never accept the keeper passing it straight to the CF or one of our players trying to turn his man on the edge of our box. It's suicide football. Far too much risk over very reward

We demand that our goalkeeper looks into the pitch rather than just going off.
“I take all of the blame for every goal we’ve given away doing that because it’s what I demand the players do. When they execute it, and it comes off, it’s really good. When they don’t quite execute it, and it costs us something, we have to then use that as a really, really good teaching opportunity. But, once again, my staff and I demand that they are brave enough to go and play, so I can’t be too mad when it goes awry.”

Goalkeepers and defenders won't make it far in the modern game if they can't play that way, so giving away silly goals at the youth levels (and seniors!) is something that people will just have to accept while they learn.

I'm sorry like but footballs gone when you are happy to concede goals. It's just suicide football

Not even the 1st team takes these risks.

Totally agree mate and it’s not as prescriptive as is being made out the two goals v wolves u21 were longer pings as they were playing a high press and was a way around it .. we play to keep the ball in play but the players are able to make decisions themselves

I'll never accept it. Teams got relegated "playing the right way"

I'm glad Le Bris is wise enough to ditch it when he sees fit, just like the play off semis vs Coventry
