Sunderland AFC U18s


We started off looking really rusty, understandable as they haven't played in over a month, come into it a lot more after a dodgy 20 minutes or so.
 
Could've been a lot more than 0-1. Fulham much stronger side pressing very high all the time. We came back into a bit at the end of the half so fingers crossed for better display 2nd half.
 
Fulham deserved that like. Looked a really good side , 8 who I think was that McCoy-splat was brilliant I thought

Agree with this, the players we probably needed to have big games tonight unfortunately didn’t.

Not really.
Rigg looked just ok on the ball first half, second half not really involved.
Tom Watson had a couple of decent moments 2nd half.
Other than than can't really think of much.
Biggest thing that stood out for me about our team was the number 7 playing on the right was always angry.

Yeah, the no7 was right in front of us second half and was consistently moaning about not getting the ball when he made a run. On the positive side he continued to make the runs so didn't drop his head.
Wasn't sure what position Rigg was supposed to be playing and didn't get into the game much.
The standout players, for me, were Fulhams 7,8,9 & 11. 8 ran the show, 9 was quick and led the line well and 7 & 11 were also quick and supported attack and defence. Also, they weren't big lads but they were strong at holding off our defenders.
