I disagree, the pitch got sorted last season so shouldn’t be an issue anyway. The majority of clubs play them in their main ground and we shouldn’t be any different.
It’s a big competition and the sol should be used I think.

Absolutely. Will be a motivation to want to play in the stadium.
 
Seen an England under 18s schools squad last night. Few lads from the north east including at least 1 ex Sunderland but the one I’m asking about is Oscar Fletcher, I’m sure he has came off the bench for our 18s a couple of times lately so has he just been here on trial?

Just looked and about a third of the squad is from up here 😂.
Recognised the ex too. Not sure about current situation if trial or made permanent for Fletcher?

Hopefully put out our strongest team . The lads have a real shot of winning quite a prestigious competition here and it's good for the profile of the academy .

Winners have Southampton away which will be tough. Tonight will be tough also. They beat Chelsea 7-1 away the other month.

Pretty much is our strongest XI for the u18s, they've been in great form but not played for awhile.
