Do you mean carbon copy of how they play football? Or the recruitment?

The lad Middlemass looks very, very good. It'll be interesting to see how they all progress.

I would say football wise pretty much, they play good passing stuff and play out from the back. Recruitment wise I’m not as sure but what I would say is the bulk of them have nothing to do recruitment wise with the current speakman type set up as they have been there since before they came. That’s not a go at anyone, just the fact they were here before hand. If I remember right the first post in here is about this years first year scholars and most of them were here from 11/12/13 etc so here for a number of years already.

Not allowed coloured boots in our academy until they get a pro deal. Someone will put me right if I’m slightly wrong on that.

Think one or two might have been from pre-academy or u9s. Believe the 16s lads involved have been together since aged 7, I'd imagine the same for the older lads.
The Black boots thing looks great, think you're right with the pro thing.

We will lose some still, thats the nature of football.
Some get starry eyed if a big boy comes in, some can't turn down the monetary offer. The good thing is at the minute is they aren't touting them around, and there seems lime a plan to bring them on to 1st team football with us, not just selling a good young talent for a 100k or whatever.
