Unlikely to be an age thing. Not massively up to speed on the mags but our side only had 3 second years starting and 1 on the bench ( under 18s) the rest were 1st years and schoolboys so under 17 and under 16

Ditto. I have been at 3 different grounds. Training ground/academy very piecemeal. Not a patch of AOL. Stewards on the gate seemed to treat you with suspicion upon entering the ground. Very strange.

We were wondering if they were just..that bad..or if they were playing a much younger side compared to ours.. each time we went forward in that 2nd half there was a goal coming. Rigg was just a different class with some great through balls. Was really quite impressed by Louie Salkeld and Mason cotcher

Said it before and I’ll say it agin. The scum’s academy set up is light years behind ours.

We can thank Sir Bob for that with the vision of building the AoL and having produced England internationals.

Even with the blood money it’ll take them an age to catch up. Especially given KLD & Speakman’s plans.

Let’s be honest the great unwashed won’t have the patience to invent in and blood (no pun intended) young players in their first team.
