Technically not doing anything wrong, morally they are enticing people to the sea front.
Shame as I’m sure these businesses are struggling for revenue. The pizzas are really good if not slightly overpriced and anytime other than a full lockdown I would recommend trying them.

I’ve seen them just off roker avenue a few times. I have used log fire pizza who used to park next to roker park a few times. Nice those.

amazed this is allowed like. what the fuck is wrong with people. government guidelines currently, which one of these justifies going to a street food market:

You must not leave, or be outside of your home except where necessary. You may leave the home to:

  • shop for basic necessities, for you or a vulnerable person
  • go to work, or provide voluntary or charitable services, if you cannot reasonably do so from home
  • exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person, this should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.
  • meet your support bubble or childcare bubble where necessary, but only if you are legally permitted to form one
  • seek medical assistance or avoid injury, illness or risk of harm (including domestic abuse)
  • attend education or childcare - for those eligible
If you do leave home for a permitted reason, you should always stay local - unless it is necessary to go further, for example to go to work. Stay local means stay in the village, town, or part of the city where you live.

If you are clinically extremely vulnerable you should only go out for medical appointments, exercise or if it is essential. You should not attend work

Takeaway is on there. Can’t get a takeaway unless leave house to take it away.

Where does it say stand in a crowd eating food ?
Well unless these benevolent traders are putting this event on for 1 person I suspect there will be a crowd of some sort. Seeing as we are not supposed to leave the house I am getting that the attendees are not obeying the rules ergo increasing the chances of close proximity and spreading the virus.

I hope this clarifies the issue for you Dan.

Has that not been superseded by up to date restrictions???
The primary rule is "stay at home" is it not?
Dunno. I just going about life as normal just without the pubs.
