Stuck with Cattermole....

Catts has always been very limited but his battling qualities and ball winning made him worth a place. Sadly his limited qualities have diminished and now he offers virtually nothing.

Someone has to take the sensible decision and leave him out, hopefully Coleman is that man.

Agreed, he served a purpose 3/4 year back.

He's been abysmal lately though but wasn't too bad today except for the odd 'Hollywood pass' which failed

Played fine during Bruce's reign. Imagine blaming Bruce for SAFC offering Cattermole two contract extensions years after he left.

At last someone who speaks sense .. he at least has a go at the correct pass rather than the safe pass. If he hadn’t made that challenge they were in an attacking overload situation. Apart from two keeper errors we totally dominated the match.
 
He played quite well today.

The clapping, pointing, gurning, wanker seemed to be up for it today, as if he was aware that a new manager was watching, and as if it was contract renewal time, or April in a relegation battle where he is at risk of a 40% wage cut.

Fair play to him. It's good that he can still lift his levels of performance up a notch or two for a few games every couple of years when it suits him.

Got a nice big hug off his mate Stockdale when he came off the pitch too.

Used to like him, but he was always limited. I do think he cares but heck he's so off the pace it is frightening. Injuries or lifestyle,.and he isn;t that old either ..more dead meat on the books for years to come.
 
Sure you haven't missed it but as a reminder we are bottom of the league. 17 games, 1 win, 11 points. We are an utter embarrassment. Crowing on here about player is comical we don't have a single player close to playing PL. League 1 seems more likely.
 
Game just passed him by yesterday, he offers absolutely nothing now, can only think it's his injuries that have knacked him.

Spot on mate

Let’s all use Cattermole as a scape goat . No mention of rodders, honeyman , mcnair, Gibson and even Williams contributing very little
