Both will travel IMHO but I'd imagine they'll alternate tests. Jimmy's accuracy and Broad's cutters/variation could go down well in India

Still can't believe that he was used as the "Enforcer" in around 2010 and his role became to bang it in short and unsettle batsmen. He's always been a very dangerous bowler when he bowls a fuller length on or just outside off stump.
He seems to be getting better and better IMO.

Fast bowlers get injured. Older fast bowlers definitely do. And those injuries will become more frequent. But that doesn’t mean he is finished yet

Hard to play when you’re injured. I didn’t say he is finished, I said he’s quickly heading that way. 6 months out with a calf strain cannot be a good sign.

Broad averaged 48 in the 2017-18 series. Anderson averaged 28.

Thought it was a sign of things to come that Anderson was looking very stiff in the outfield Monday after his opening burst, hadn't had a lot of work to do in the test and had the day off previously. Really don't think Jimmy's body can stand up too back to back tests, being super Critical, I felt that Jimmy went through spells in this series where he looked off the pace.
If he's fit, he plays the day nighter in the Ashes for me, but not sure about any of the other tests in that series

Both have been more miss than hit down under. Not a tour to suddenly start feeling your age. I think it was 1990/91 tour where Gooch and Getting looked geriatric.

Right so take both of them.
They may not play in all five tests but they're still England's best two bowlers and should play together when fit.

Depending on the venues there is much more in the pitches for seamers now than there has been in the past. India have consciously gone down this route to try and produce all surface cricketers.
And a 3-1 win when he was great. fair point though he will always be decent and economical but hes not the same threat on their pitches with the kook.

But they were all going to be rotated, it just happened to be broads turn first.
He came back with a fantastic attitude and bowler magnificently but stop being such a fanny with all this support of my family shite , he was rested for a test match not plucked away from the front line ffs.
