12-209 in 3 tests this year. Far from itJimmy looks finished for me. Age catching up with him I think. Still steady away but I just think he’s lost his edge. Thoughts?
Both will travel IMHO but I'd imagine they'll alternate tests. Jimmy's accuracy and Broad's cutters/variation could go down well in IndiaWill broad and Anderson play the five tests in India next year? Imo no and I don’t think they should even travel there

He bowled more overs than anyone in the Southampton test, and more overs than anyone else in the 1st innings here
He’s gonna get injuries as he gets older. Absolutely. But to say he is coming to end abruptly isnt true. Broad maybe looks sharper because he is 3 years younger, but Anderson has been exceptional in recent years
Fast bowlers get injured. Older fast bowlers definitely do. And those injuries will become more frequent. But that doesn’t mean he is finished yetHe spent most of last year injured and not playing. Doesn’t that count?

AgreedHard to play when you’re injured. I didn’t say he is finished, I said he’s quickly heading that way. 6 months out with a calf strain cannot be a good sign.
Both top class performers especially in English conditions and two of England's greatest. But I can't see us winning back the Ashes if we ruck up at the Gabba with them as the opening bowlers. Personally would rather go with Broad than Anderson.
Thought it was a sign of things to come that Anderson was looking very stiff in the outfield Monday after his opening burst, hadn't had a lot of work to do in the test and had the day off previously. Really don't think Jimmy's body can stand up too back to back tests, being super Critical, I felt that Jimmy went through spells in this series where he looked off the pace.Hard to play when you’re injured. Broad averaged 27 in the 2013-14, Anderson averaged 44Broad averaged 48 in the 2017-18 series. Anderson averaged 28.

If I was Anderson I’d never want to go to Australia again, as much as I rate him in England hasn’t he been in the team for two 5-0 schlackings!
Not at all. Hes still taking wickets and is very tight aswellJimmy looks finished for me. Age catching up with him I think. Still steady away but I just think he’s lost his edge. Thoughts?
He hadn't played in 6month lolBroad going on like right fanny mind, talking about support of his family got him through not playing first test etc.
He was only rested ffs, Anderson was rested 2nd test and not mithering on.
But they were all going to be rotated, it just happened to be broads turn first. He hadn't played in 6month lol
