Alexandra is wonderful, she's just not my favourite (for non racist reasons).

She's probably the best dancer - but there's something about her manner that I just don't like (when she gets interviewed) - artificially intense is the best I can come up with to describe it.

It’s partly about the emotional connection the viewers make with the celebs along the way though - that’s one of its real hooks. Particularly watching people who have never done this before, and who discover they’re magic at it.

Alexandra and Gemma probably came through the ol' stage school route anarl, Alexandra will have had dance training from her pop career too.

Talent show winner wasn’t she and more of a ‘singer’. Not like Aston who was in a boyband that danced. She’ll not have had loads of training.

Debbie was literally a very, very good dancer from a young age. Rather than having a little bit of exposure through her career.
