Stop going to the match, it's the only way to let them know the current predicament is a million miles away from acceptable. I would love to see less than 10K roll up, they'll sharp act then.
Do you go? Or have you ever been?

I don't think it makes any difference money wise. Ticket sales mean nothiing these days but what it may make a difference to is showing people won't accept the current situation and how it would be reported in the media if they were playing to an empty stadium. We don't want alot winning a couple of games a year would be an improvement. It's not a case of going missing when things get hard. I was there for the two lowest point seasons but i cannot condone/support the current state of our club.
Good idea mate. Can I be one of the less than 10k though but?Stop going to the match, it's the only way to let them know the current predicament is a million miles away from acceptable. I would love to see less than 10K roll up, they'll sharp act then.
One or two make no difference. One or two thousand ditto. Ten or twelve thousand.....I don’t even buy a pie
No denying it’s easy at the moment it’s shit but me staying away will make no difference whatsoever. Ellis is hardly going to say to himself, “oh boy we are in trouble, janey and her dad aren’t there today”
Point missed.Doesn’t matter how many turn up. We are just not good enough
Point missed. Most there today are the clubs true supporters- the ones when the shit hits the fan still turn up
The OPs last game was nearly 3 years ago
Says it all really
Ticket sales mean nothing in the PL. They mean a lot in the FL.
SAFC are skint. People have been made redundant since relegation from the PL......that’s basically a hint.
I wish posters would stop repeating shit like “ticket sales mean nothing these days” parrot style as if they think they’ve some source of secret knowledge or summit.
Not going may end up doing more for professional football on Wearside than going. No one knows for sure.

Point missed.
It’s not dying. It’s just badly ran on all levels. Football clubs don’t die, especially ones with 48500 stadia and 40000 crowds when thing are going averagely.I couldn’t not go if I lived in the area. As it is, I don’t and it’s a relief not to go often. The club is dying and it’s harrowing to watch
Correct.Pointless

NoAnother post telling people what they should do. And another post where I will say I respect the decision of those who have decided not to go, please respect the decision of those who have decided to continue to go

Except for the bad publicity if absolutely no one turned up. Something to remember the Short regime for. At the end of the day it is your choice.I don’t even buy a pie

He would like. For financial reasons only of course, but he would. We could have gates of 5000 and Ellis Short would not give a flying fuck !
