Still in our hands

What a bloody turn around since Hull & Peterborough got those last min winners last week.

Still twists to come yet though. It’s no where near over
That really has made all the difference. They both scraped wins in games where it looked like they’d messed up while we couldn’t even rescue a draw today.

we always seem to fall apart at crucial times and have done since we came down to this level.

We are now 6 to 1 to win the league while Hull are 8 to 11 and Posh 2 to 1 for good reason. We are favourites for the playoffs because we would have to completely implode to finish outside the top six. If Charlton have to beat Hull at home to reach the playoffs I just hope we are top two and not third.

ITHICS, today was tough but we have to go again. If we don’t go up automatically so be it, let’s go out fighting and take some form into the play offs if that’s where we end up.

It’s not over until it’s over, we are Sunderland.

I’m going to confidently predict that none of the top three teams (or any in our division for that matter) will win all of their remaining games.

Spot on. Looking back yesterday we should have been in front but for a good save and we had chances, they scored two lucky goals but fair play to Charlton they defended well and keeper had a good performance, both Hull and Peterborough need to face Charlton away so they might do the same to them. Could be a blessing in disguise losing yesterday. Personally i thought Johnsons team selection wasn’t the greatest and backfired but its far from over for us.

Build expectation, choke automatic promotion, get through to the playoff final, build expectation, take the lead, choke in the last 10 mins. The Sunderland way

We have to win ever game. Won't happen. Yday was a good test. I had us down to draw. We couldn't do it. I don't see us beating hull and Blackpool twice TBF. Not playing well enough. Can not keep grinding out wins. Fair play to hull specifically like , sweeping teams away.
