The mittens lad is an interesting one. He can only be one of only a few people.

I have my suspicions.

He's nowt to do with ALS or any fan group necessarily.
He's written published stuff about Ellis Short
He loved Chris Coleman with a passion

I'm getting the word **** ************

Such a terrible user name though A children's nursery rhyme. Bit sort of noncey.

Obsessed :D

I'm nobody. I am not a die-hard, not a former player, I'm not a member of ALS/RR, not a journo, I've never had anything 'published' about Ellis Short. I didn't love Chris Coleman, I thought he was the best man for the job if Short stayed and we were in a financial shithole.

I did think you were a complete arsewipe though, so it turns out I was definitely right about that.

Oh, and yeah the username is a reference to IASIP.

This is basically you trying to find out who I am:

Different bids & contacts I believe.

I spoke to TZM privately and the things he said were not what I had seen. That doesn't mean they can't both be true, as it may just be different parts of the same bid, ie: different investors and contacts. He had the Spanish connection too, so could be legit.

There's no holistic overview. I think it'll be a week or so before we know exactly who the major players who will be publicly associated with us (beyond Donald) are.

Love owt like this.

It's true though. I had it confirmed yesterday that these are the people I referred to early in the week. That's all I know, but even though I'm sceptical about TZM's info, which is why we didn't discuss it further, I am not saying he's a bullshitter, just that if it is true, it's not something I'd heard.

I mean it. I love it when people are reminded that two different stories involving different groups of people can both be true.

I liked this for the use of "holistic" which is very high brow for the pure football forum

If it's a private equity firm that's the main investor then anything is possible in the future. It could all go really well and they get us back to the Premier league and sell us to a billionaire or we could end up asset stripped like Coventry. Nobody can know right now how much money they're prepared to put in or what they're prepared to do with the club's assets if things don't go well.

What was your reference? I missed it? How wealthy is this consortium?

New #SAFC Chairman Stewart Donald has a significant five-year plan to bring exciting times back to the SOL.

Club will predominatly owned by large Spanish & UAE investment thats made its fortune in Energy & Oil.

Plan in place for a bigger ownership structure once stabalized

UK, ROI, UAE & Spanish all involved. #SAFC

Source of wealth for the #SAFC takeover are pretty big hitters even in todays market.

#REPSOL - Global energy company are involved - based in Spain. Significant investment may come from them later once club is back in the Championship. Net worth of circa - $15 billion.
