He tried his overworked heart out at the beginning, got a bit sulky midway then enlisted his own daughter, a specialist in genital manipulation techniques to try and keep things together. Finally the toys went out the pram and everybody got the blame apart from him. Enjoy the honeymoon, tiger.

Hi guys.

Was just wondering why you hate steve bruce so much.

What are the exact reasons?

Imho you guys got rid of him to soon?

Because he's a lying manipulative toe rag, who takes no responsibility for anything and left our club in the shit from which it has not recovered.

Just wait until he starts blaming your fans for losing games swiftly followed by blaming the fans for losing his job... Which he keeps talking about. If I was a Hull fan I would think he still held a candle for Sunderland cos he's still obsessed with us.

In assuming you are genuine supporter, and I'll give you a like minded reply.

When Bruce was appointed manager of SAFC he started off the 09/10 season well (it wasn't hard to improve on our performance in 08/09), we were in a safe mid-table/top ten position come December. Then for some reason we embarked upon a 4 month run where we couldn't win a game and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Portsmouth. During this winless run, Mrs Doubtfire showed that he was not capable of arresting the slump, questionable tactics led to despicable results such as a 7-2 loss at Stamford Bridge. We limped over the line to finish 13th... Bruce spunked almost £30m the previous Summer and we gained 3 places.

Despite repeatedly telling us after his initial spending spree in Summer 2009 that it was now a case of "just adding one or two more quality players every year" to the squad, Summer 2010 brought more wholesale changes with numerous ins and outs. £13m was spent on Asamoah Gyan who spent a year on Wearside and was largely a massive disappointment. We won 2 games upto November and on Halloween suffered a 5-1 humiliation at St James Park... for which a large portion of the blame must go to Bruce. Our performances in derby games during his tenure were nothing short of a disgrace and you have to wonder what the black and white twat was saying to the players before during and after these specific matches. My guess is something along the lines of "let them win because it'll make my family happy".

Results picked up over the winter to the point where we were in a position to go and challenge the top six. Instead the club sold Darren Bent and although we triumphed 2-1 at Blackpool in our next league game we then went on to lose 9 out of our next 10 to leave us unbelievably looking over our shoulders at the bottom three. A late rally and some incredibly fortunate last day results ended with us somehow in tenth... It is this tenth placed finish that Bruce constantly bleats on about to the media in reference to his time at Sunderland. In reality he should be f***ing disgusted with himself that we only finished tenth.

Two years now then since being told "Its now just a matter of adding one or two quality players to the squad every year" as I mentioned before. What do you think happened? A decent (but by no means brilliant team) was dismantled and in came a load of has beens and Championship standard replacements. Special mention to the decrepit pair of "defenders" he handed stupidly long contracts to and no doubt really decent salaries. For further evidence of exactly what Bruce's "tinkering" did to our squad, in January 2011 we enjoyed a strikeforce which had cost £23m in Darren Bent, Asamoah Gyan and Danny Welbeck and in September 2011 we had been reduced to scrabbling Nicklas Bendtner over the line on a loan deal on the final day of the transfer window.

Special mention to the 4-6-0 formation he employed for a defeat to Brighton in the Carling Cup...

The bloke was clueless and his style of football outdated and boring, he all too often rushed players back into the heat of the action too early after an injury and they subsequently broke down again and were out for even lengthier amounts of time, Lee Cattermole being probably the greatest example of this but there were many more cases.

In short, Bruce got the ball rolling with regards to our downfall. I see the bloke as one of the main reason's this once great football club is now a laughing stock with a one way ticket down the leagues. I'm by no means blaming him for the entire mess, but he must take his share of the blame. Sadly he now seems to be laughing his fat head off at our plight and mentioning us every ten seconds, his time will come. History shows that after a couple of years in a job he usually starts to fuck it up, he's probably already started. His transfer strategy is farcical, Long and Jelavic may look like decent buys at the moment but long term they will not work out. £12m for them? You must be joking.

Can I just end by saying that I cannot stand your tin pot football club and I look forward to your inevitable relegation. I will enjoy watching Bruce squirm when it all starts to go wrong and it becomes clear he does not have a clue how to retrieve the situation. I have no doubt that you will feel the same way about him as SAFC fans do about him now in time. Instead of "I got them tenth you know" it will be "I got them to an FA Cup semi/ FA Cup final you know". Watch this space.

Good luck.

Too long to read. Must have a lots of free time. In short, Bruce will still be in the PL next year.[DOUBLEPOST=1397358669][/DOUBLEPOST]
Hmmm? You weren't even close to Reebok and crack is woeful.
Crack or no crack it is usually the simpletons that speak only 1 language that are always most critical on minor spelling errors. English is my 4th most comfortable language and would love for you to remotely write your name in Mandarin let alone write I have nothing better to do than spend time on this forum being critical of my fellow supporter in Cantonese. Please grow up as you seem like you have aged backwardly and regressed which is a shame.

I was at the match while you were pretending to drink whiskey critising real supporters. Enjoy life on fantasy island and enjoy following Hull next season. Meanwhile I'll be watching the lads come what may.

Steve Bruce, the chief architect of our most recent troubles. He usually leaves the clubs he managed in a worse state than when he arrived so you have a lot to look forward to Tiger.

Architect eh?
That must make Poyet the fukin decorator then
