Sounds right. I just remember popping into Greens in the town and watching it in there. Everyone was canny happy! I genuinely thought we'd kick on the following season.

Aye mags pissed away a 3-0 lead at home to West Brom. Tchoyi scored second half hat-trick to make it 3-3.

Helped us jump up to 10th in the 90th minute on the final day. As would have been the Mags in 10th if not for that.

We had a good team under him and 10th wasn't to be sniffed at but we surely could have done better with that squad? I'm sure we had bent,gyan and welbeck at one point?

His boyhood NUFC credentials did him no good but he was far better for us than Keane with a fraction of the spend
He left us in far far better nick than when he was brought in

Don’t believe we ever had a full season with all 3 available
Bent and Gyan got their heads turned and iirc many were moaning because
Eel beck was a loan and thought Frazier Campbell was a superior player
He did have a canny squad but did it on the cheap compared with runaway Roy and his mercenaries
