From what I saw of Sunderland last season I think he would be an improvement. I read an interview a while ago saying he's keen to stay at home as him and his lass just had a bairn.. see what happens.

I'll be honest, there are some good players in that national league. One you signed from Hartlepool I still believe would have improved that Sunderland side last season and hope he gets a chance this season. Sterry would be a solid signing for Sunderland
I don't doubt there is but I also think if you put some of the lads deemed crap for us in the national league they'd look good players at that level.
