Steam help...

Logged out of computer earlier. Logged back on 10 minutes later (about 1pm-ish). Trying to get onto steam now and it's not accepting any password. I can't access my email address to reset password. What options do I have to get access to the hundreds of pounds worth of products on my account?

I've contacted support twice on two different email addresses and got fuck all back. Last request for support was sent about half 1 so 4 hours since it was sent!

Help anyone?

They will get back to you eventually if neither of those work. You may me locked out of your account for a week or so though.

Don't be such an eejit in future, you have hundreds of pounds tied into that account.

Valve have loads of ways to recover passwords if you arse yourself spending 2 minutes setting them up.

This was before they added the mobile phone option and authenticator but I wanted to recover one of my old accounts a few year ago.

Coincidently the account has just got its 15 year badge in the last few days.

Anyway I didn't have access to the email associated with it.

I had to create a steam support account, take a picture of the manual showing the CD key that came with the physical version of the game.

Luckily I still had my copy of half life generations so I was able to do it.

The other option was the payment details, I had no idea what my card number was when I had last made a purchase as it was years before.
