Did Starsky or Hutch have a girlfriend that died? I remember that happened a lot.

I like watching old shows and tried a Kojak a while back which I found quite boring. A lot of it has to do with being used to faster paced stuff these days. Also tried watching Hazell which is on Talking Pictures. I found the voice over narration irritating.

Hazell was co-written by Terry Venables, wasn't it? I always got it confused with Rosie, the gentle (i.e. not very funny) late 70s sitcom about a young police officer.

Yes it was. I'd forgotten until I saw the titles. Camerawork was right up close too. Ah Rosie - no I don't recall it being great. Paul Greenwood?
