Star Trek better than Star Wars

It's difficult to say what's shitter, the Star Trek reboot movies or Star Wars prequels.

I'd say the original Star Wars trilogy beats anything in the Star Trek franchise, but then ST-TOS, ST-TNG, ST-DS9 and ST-V beat the rest of the SW franchise.

ST-D is probably on a par with the recent SW movies in the lower middle, just below ST-E, and the ST original movies are hit and miss - some are near the top just below the SW-OT but some are in the lower middle.

Never seen a Star Wars film, what's it about?
Trade talks turn into a planetary blockade, space ninjas go to sort it out but it turns nasty.
In the meantime they find a young lad who might end up being the best ever space ninja.
They train the lad up while fighting a war against robots.
The lad gets a bit older and becomes a petulant little twat while there's a war going on against a clone army.
The lad gets a bit older still and turns really nasty and joins the enemy. Most of the space ninjas get killed off.
Years later the lad's estranged son becomes a space ninja himself, snogs his sister and tries to kill his dad, who finds the goodness in himself at the very end just as he's dying anyway.
Meanwhile a galactic war is going on between the empire the dad works for and a little group of terrorists.
Years later one of the son's space ninja trainees goes mental and kills all the other trainee space ninjas and joins the enemy who have changed their name for some reason.
The son fucks off to a planet to live by himself and drink milk.
Some big shit gets blown up repeatedly along the way.
Lots of toys get sold.
And we wait to see what happens at the end.

I saw the star wars films when i was younger but couldn’t get into star trek it was too old looking back then but after watching enterprise series last yr ive got reet into it

I love space film/series more as i get older only 33 now but im garna watch all the star trek series if i can, already been looking for the best order to watch them in but everyones got their own opinion

Glad i get to watch them for the first time apart from enterprise obviously, if you wish you could see a star trek series again for the first time what would you pick? Whatevers suggested most ill start with that

Voyager but be prepared to sit through some god awful stuff during the first season. Pretty much all Star Trek first seasons are poor though, it takes time for the writers to establish the characters and the actors time to inhabit their character.
