Well I lived in the smiths when it was the bestbar in the area look at this state of it now

The Smiths is being turned into a Thai takeaway was the last I heard.

Bob Bells is to re-open at Easter, so some good news for the area at last.

The fires at both the top of Stanley Front Street and The Plainsman were reported as arson. The Plainsman fire is subject of a lot of rumour and saying anymore on that would not be wise.

South Moor was yet another murder.

The point is there's alot of crap in and around the area that's dragging the whole place down. And people on here go on about Peterlee.
