We dont need Borini, Rodwell or Moyes, and a few more.. are their jobs under threat ?People not looking at it in the sense that these jobs might not be needed?

This. The cost of that trip would have probably kept around 4 or 5 in work for a year
Just think, they could have taken on a few coal miners with that. They wadn't dig any coal like but there did used to be a colliery where the SoL is.
No shit.
Simple and effective postingat least the lads had a nice trip to New York
>>It is clear that the business had lost its focus
Yeah from Short and yourself down to the players - they've been absolutely clueless, but please don't blame the poor souls on just above living-wage wages who have contributed so much for so little.
Thank god the Foundation Of Light is more independent and they will hopefully escape the annihilation of Micky's New Convertible years.
Weasel words to absolve himself and the executive of the mess and the subsequent blood-letting which will now surely follow.
Great idea to go out in club track suits with cameras everywhere then.I think it was stated that NY was a good choice of destination because it's not a big football city and they won't really be known when they're out and about. Either way I don't know why it matters, if it was just a lads holiday they would have been better going to Portugal or somewhere warm wouldn't they?
It was a team building exercise, let's hope it's worked and we see some benefit from it.
People do realise that things such as that new york trip will cost the club basically nothing due to the tax they pay?
You're right. The club should just employ more and more people indefinitely instead of paying footballers. I'm sure they'll find them summit to dee after all.Never got the need to do this.
Say 20 people on £15k a year = £300,000 pa.
Thats ten weeks of some one like Larsson. Be much better getting the players to take a small wage cut than get rid of loads of staff.
Or employing people in roles that were never necessary to the running of a football club. It's not the trip to New York that's condemned folks to redundancy it's the years of financial mismanagement and buying and selling of shite players and managers that's put us in this spot.
we are in a massive hole, loads of players out of contract and massive debt meaning there will be little funds to buy even if we do squeak it and stay up so we will no doubt give new contracts to the shite we have here already or be buying bargain basement again and the cycle and struggle starts again
