300 not to much to be worried about with paucity of their attack. Malinga and Murali and they would be out of sight already
Monty rubbish in the field but our best pure spin bowler but liability in other areas

test evenly poised. havent seen any action but summarising from whats been said
 
Would've taken that from the start, however having been in such a good position, it feels like a kick in the teeth them being near 300.

Need to get Jaywardne out early like.
 
Just been browsing the BA forum. The general concensus seems to be that the Fort will be packed for day 2 and a lot of people were pissed off by the prices and organisation.

I hope they get their act together for the T20 WC.

It was unreal. People were getting through every exit no questions asked. Had to sit on patches of dirt with no shade or water when inside. We might do Fort out of choice.

What a disappointment :-( The batting has been a disgrace and its not even as if both here and in the UAE they have been beaten by it turning around corners.
 
When is the next flight to Sri Lanka from Leeds ? I'll be taking my pads....

Did we learn nothing from the UAE? Only just switched on in time to watch Prior playing back against spin and surprise surprise, out LBW. Exactly the problem we had against Pakistan, I thought we'd cracked it in our last innings there when we finally took them on and, for a change, weren't awful.

Got to take on the likes of Welegedara here, I don't rate him at all and there must be runs there to be had against him.

if they scan between the two sets of stumps in the middle they will identify at least one fanny at either end.
 
Another poor day with the bat for England.

These days no one seems to be any good in 'alien' conditions. All about home.
