Cant see Bairstow being fit or rushed back.
Could see Archer travelling but not necessarily being named in the squad.
Lets see how Ahmed goes for the rest of this test as you never know....
 
Funny place to tour. Sometimes it swings and seams all over the place like it did when they bowled us out for 50 or so in 2016 yet other times including last time it was flat as anything.

County form doesn’t mean anything to this team tbf. Wood had only played white ball stuff the whole of 2022 until this tour, Ahmed has played 4 CC games in his whole career, Pope had never batted 3 in his life until going in there in the summer against the world test champions.
Everything this team does seem to take the traditional orthodox way of playing and picking a team and throwing it out the window. In all honesty I wouldn’t have Woakes in the team anyway.
