Spurs 38 m bid for rigg


If it was Spurs it would be in instalments with only £1 million of it in cash the rest would be in unwanted partly injured players that they had hanging around plus some old Amstrad computer kit left by Alan Sugar. We would receive no percentage of any subsequent sell on fee and all of it would depend on the lad making 400 Premier League appearances for Spurs by the time he was 25.
 
It's all part of the unsettling process - planted by an agent at the request of the club. Daniel's dark arts. Spurs wouldn't want to pay a third of that.
 
Chronicle stirring it up suggesting the skunks are eyeing a big deal for him. Please god, no. (Although likely just their client journalists talking shit on purpose).

Could be Spurs. I cannot see anything in it apart from that sort of talk unsettling a player. When transfer windows were brought in, I thought all these rumours would stop as journalists would have nothing to write about - but the growth of the Internet has made it worse.

Mind, if the heirarchy at our place have decided to cash in, there are worse ideas than putting it out there with a £38mill price attatched???????

Could be - but still very young and like Mundle and Watson, all fantastic talents, need a lot more games and experience before they are the finished article - if they ever get that far. Some of the top PL academies must have similar talent and they are players coming through all the time. Very competitive.
