Spurs 38 m bid for rigg

and he’s done everything gray done.
Well he sort of hasn’t has he this time last year Gray was playing and scoring for the England U21s when playing in the championship … Rigg is with the U19s

So Spurs paid £35m for a U21 player they aren’t paying €45m for a U19 player

Thought he played full back for Leeds - could be wrong though
He did. But he's been primarily a centre midfielder coming through. Most of his games at spurs have been centre back due to injuries.

Clearly a very versatile player

Ideally he stays with us for years but aye if people start offering that sort of money then I’m not sure how we keep him

Well it would be it it’s a European source. Not saying it is or isn’t true like
This place believes any old source and tends to go into meltdown over it. I’m doubting a European source knows the dealings between 2 English clubs before an English source

35m quid and 45 in euros will without checking be roughly the same amount. You’re right he had just made his 21s debut at club level he has done everything Gray has and at international up to this point. Gray is a cracking young player but I would say there is more excitement/noise around rigg so the price isn’t stupid

We're likely to get some high offers for the lad, but they'll probably be with a number of clauses attached. I'd probably guess at something like 20m upfront with some clauses that could see it hit around 30m. Maybe even get him back on loan, if we're still in the championship.

I expect we'd be looking for closer to 38m than 20m. The 10m bandied about is a joke.

He's a class young talent, despite looking dead on his feet at the moment. He'll come back stronger next season.
He will need to be in the premier

For purely financial reasons, I'd take £38m (plus some add-ons) but for footballing reasons I think Rigg needs at least 1 more season in the Championship. Currently, he is unable to maintain the desired level of performance across 46 games (no shame there, he's 17 years old). The PL is brutal and it's relentless, I think he'd struggle at that level if he moved in the summer.
