Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

It’s honestly hard to constantly answer the same question without coming down as condescending.

The more things you buy, the more they cost. We increased the cost to try and increase spending power. We didn’t communicate well enough clearly, but I didn’t think it would’ve needed explaining.
Not even sure why you're bothering to try and explain marra

With the greatest respect.

This is a group who wilfully misunderstood the national stadiums fire safety regulations and refuses the importance of trust/financial transparency when asking the public for money.

Not sure they are ever listening.

I love the sentiment behind Sof37 but it desperately needs some competent people.
Have you thought about joining them marra ?
Sure the more good people that get involved the stronger it would be and better for the fans
I like what they do

Exactly this. People have to remember that we’re up against a vey sinister and ruthless regime.
There is a very cliquey element to part of sundetland twitter mind. Some relentlessly moan about the atmosphere, and then also relentlessly moan about SO37. One of them pipes up having a dig and all their mates (incapable of forming an opinion of their own) joins in.

It's probably why sunderland have never been organised as a support. It's almost impossible.

a few hundred on Twitter doesn’t represent our support, there’s plenty who will come together to make a stand against people in charge allowing Sportswashing on our own ground

Call me cynical, and I know I am but hear me out. This whole “I’m leaving SOT37” and we are sick and maybe will keep going etc. thing from Donald all seems very convenient considering the pressure and backlash they have faced from the farce of the moving the goalposts from this display and they’ve been accused of lining pockets so have started having to prove where money has went.

This next bit is a question and not an opinion. Does this show that the people questioning motives of the group could have had a point?

I don’t mind Donald from what I’ve seen on here, always seems to tell the truth and is quite up front and open, but this could really contribute to people’s already existing suspicions of the group.
Jesus wept

What suspicions? Some bitter, negative weasels from twitter who are negative about anything and everything? Who want a say on every flag led display but don't want to contribute with their time and or money?

It's always the same man, nobodies who add nothing to anything yet expect respect and want input, then when something happens they disagree with they go on like bairns and constantly criticise.
Pingu is one of them from Twitter.
Dun Schahatch on here is another.

Bitter, negative, cynical pricks with nout else going on or for them

There are a few reasons I can’t, not least little available time and spending most of the year outside of the UK.

There’ll be a phenomenal skill set amongst the membership of this board for starters im sure.

Register a company as a not for profit, set up a bank account, appoint some directors/trustees, each of whom have some expertise or knowledge… Finance, marketing, fundraising, design, community engagement etc.

A group like this could become a central tenet of the clubs fan base. Would be fantastic. The club would want for that too.

Could be very true. I’d recommend watching the dissident if you can. It explains how much influence Saudi has on everything in the world and how they use Twitter bots as a weapon to push their propaganda.

There's blood on your hands
There's blood on your hands
Sportwashing bar stewards
There's blood on your hands
Third line, same syllables, fits perfectly.....

"Newcastle United".
Still doing it. Their final ever one
So they're going to cover any smaller individual flags, with any more 'extreme' messages on - With a tame, Sportswashed one?

Eclipsing the truth?
Great.
